Victor Grey McGlaughlin

Victor G. McGlaughlin, 92, of Clearville, PA, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.

 

He was born in Baltimore, MD, on August 07, 1931, a son of the late Harry and Louise (Diegert) McGlaughlin.

 

On February 3, 1954, he married Bobbye J. (Cordell) McGlaughlin who passed away on January 27, 2009.

 

He is survived by his son, Victor McGlaughlin Jr. and wife Pamela; daughter, Kimberly and husband Charles Bauer; five grandchildren, Bobbie Drozda, Bethany Lobell, Andrea Trautman, Victor McGlaughlin III, and Mathew Bauer; and six great-grandchildren, Haley and Harper McGlaughlin, Preston and Wesley Lobell, and Jaxson and Kinsley Trautman.

 

In addition to his parents and wife, Victor was preceded in passing by two sisters, Gloria Rohe and Pat Koelber.

 

After high school, Victor joined the United States Navy, where he served for 4 years as an Aviation Structural Mechanic. He then worked as a machinist for many years until his retirement.

 

He was a member of the Steven's Chapel Methodist Church for several decades. In his free time, he loved being in the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hiking, traveling, and bird watching.

 

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Mitchell Wiedefeld Funeral Home, Baltimore, MD with Pastor Tim Lindner officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Mitchell Wiedefeld Funeral Home from 11:00 am until the hour of service.

 

Burial will be at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, MD.
