Adda Stultz Obituary

Adda May Stultz, 96, of Chaneysville, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 19th, 2016, with her family at her side. She was born Sunday, May 25th, 1919 in Fishers Island, New York, a daughter of the late Lester L. Sharp and Theresa (Malone) Sharp. On October 11th, 1941 at the Corpus Christi Church in Baltimore, she married Ray David Stultz who passed away on March 3rd, 2003. She is survived by their daughters, Nancy Lee Justice of Chaneysville, Suzanne Rae Stultz of Chaneysville, Four grandchildren, David Justice and wife Tonya of Chaneysville, Lorna Wyrick and husband Jeff of Baltimore, Derek Weide and wife Heidi of Chaneysville, Devon Weide and wife Heather of Wisconsin, Nine great-grandchildren, Heather King, Claire Perrin, Tyler Weide, Chloe Weide, Ella Weide, Jordan Edwards, Victoria Greer, Jasmine Weide and Ethan Sipple, two great great-granddaughters, Hunter Dickson and Kayden Shroyer, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. In addition to her parents and husband Ray, she was preceded in passing away by a grandson Brian Steven Justice, two son-in-laws, Allen Stevens Justice and Sonny Weide, three sisters, Thelma McKenzie, Vera Frawley, and Theresa Harper and three brothers, Leroy Sharp, Vincent Sharp and Lawrence Sharp. Mrs. Stultz was a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Beans Cove. She was a graduate of Eastern High School in Baltimore, Maryland and began her education and career as a Licensed Practical Nurse while working at Springfield State Hospital in Sykesville, Maryland and Crownsville State Hospital in Millersville, Maryland. She later worked as an LPN at San Nursing Home in Millersville until retiring. Always kind and gentle, Adda graciously encouraged and supported her family, friends and clients with a great sense of humor that could light up a room. She will be remembered for her gift of finding the good in every situation and everyone, and for sharing her happiness with those she loved and cared for. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 29th, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett with Rev. Derek Fairman officiating. Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett on Friday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in memory or Adda to the Bedford County Humane Society, 1108 Lutzville Road, Everett, PA 15537.
