Arnold H. Tate

Arnold H. Tate, 64, of Manns Choice, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 6, 2024.

He was born in Everett, PA, on June 11, 1960, a son of the late Jack Tate and Irene (Spencer) Tate.

Arnold is survived by three daughters, Heather Stahr and husband, Tyler, Crystal Soto and husband, Brian, and Paige Tate; a son, Daniel Tate; three sisters, Kathleen Willing, Pennie Pries, and Kitty Lewis and husband, Christopher; two brothers, Jack Tate Jr. and Michael Tate and wife, Rachel; eight grandchildren, Elijah and Isabella, Teagan, Hayden, Graeson, and Evelyn Stahr, Daniel Jr. and Rylan Tate; two great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.

After graduating from Everett Area High School, Arnold began working in a sawmill. After learning the trade, he worked his way to the top, earning the title of Head Sawyer. He then switched professions, working as a lighting technician for Aetna.

Arnold had many hobbies and interests throughout his life. He enjoyed picking berries with his children and grandchildren. He was a great cook who enjoyed baking, even though he burned quite a few cookies. He was an avid Trump supporter. Arnold also found pleasure in tending to his garden but, above all else, he loved his family more than anything.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 12:00 PM in the Chapel at Donelson Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
