Audrey B. (Brown) Clingerman

Audrey B. Clingerman, 87, of Artemas, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 15th, 2016. She was born Tuesday, August 21st, 1928 in Monessen, a daughter of the late William C. Brown and Mary B. (Beadling) Brown. On March 27th, 1948, she married Boyd A. Clingerman, who passed away on January 30th, 2001. She is survived by their daughter, Debra M (Clingerman) Sexton and husband Gregory S. Sexton of Artemas, Three sisters, Ovada Barbai, Shirley Osborn, Olive Sarber, Sixteen nieces and nephews, and many loving friends and their families. In addition to her husband, Audrey was preceded in passing away by a sister, Maybell Johnston, and 2 brothers, Clarence Brown, and David Brown. Audrey was a member of the First Christian Church in Monessen and a graduate of Monessen High School, Class of 1946. In 1993, she completed her working career at TCI Communications, where she worked as the Office Manager. Audrey was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Monessen Chapter #205. Prior to the merging of two Chapters, she served as Worthy Matron from 1967-1968 in the Belle Vernon Chapter #196 and also served as Mother Advisor, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls in Belle Vernon. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the NRA. Audrey enjoyed her free time, where she had no hesitation to just sit down and surf the web, send emails to family and friends, or just sit back and enjoy a good book on her Kindle. She will be remembered for her kindness and compassion toward everyone, and living life to its fullest. Private Services will be held by her family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in honor of Audrey to First Christian Church, 115 6th Street, Monessen, PA 15062 Arrangements by Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett.
