Obituary

Barbara R. Grover, 57, of Mattie, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

She was born in Maddison, Tennessee on March 21, 1965, a daughter of the late Marilyn Grover and William Grover.

She is survived by a brother, William Grover Jr, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

In 1983, Barbara graduated from Takoma Academy (SDA) Christian High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. After graduation, she attended Columbia Union College, now Washington Adventist University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

She was a member of the Bedford County Amateur Radio Society and the Everett Seventh-day Adventist Church. Barbara enjoyed needle point, reading, and amateur radio.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Everett FDA Church building fund or Bedford County Amateur Radio Society.

Funeral service will be Monday, May 23, 2022, at 11:00 am in the chapel at Donelson Funeral Home with Pastor Ball officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and share memories online at www.donelsonfuneralhome.com.
