Beverly Clark Obituary

Beverly Elaine (Hilden) Clark, 89, of Clearville, passed on in the journey of life on Sunday, May 19th, 2019. She was born Sunday, February 23rd, 1930 in the village of Deep, Bottineau County, North Dakota, a daughter of the late Marcus W. Hilden and Beulah (Wakefield) Hilden.

On December 25th, 1951, she married Arnold E. Clark who passed away on April 22nd, 2008 after fifty-six years of marriage. She is survived by their three sons and their families,

Gregory Lynn Clark and wife Sue (Mills) Clark of Clearville, Arnold Edward Clark, Jr. and wife Patricia (Jay) Clark of Clearville; and Marcus Kevin Clark and wife Linda (Hood) Clark, of Clearville,

Eight grandchildren, Jeremy Lynn Clark and wife Sheena (Bennett); Chelsea Marie Clark; Elaina Kaye Carroll and husband Wesley Carroll; Allie Lanae Frear and husband Ben Frear; Luke Edward Clark and wife Alyssa (Wharton); Nathaniel James Clark; Jason Matthew Clark and fiancé Martina Lashley; Alex Benjamin Clark and wife Allie (Lingenfelter);

Four great grandchildren; Ruthie Marie, Hattie Mae, and twins Welkin Ann and Everly Jean, and Beverly was anticipating the arrival of her fifth great-grandchild in July.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing away by a brother Marcus E. Hilden; five sisters, Francis Hilden, Marja Meeks, Gloria Riehl, Barbara Morrow, Betty Hinish, and a nephew Gerald Hilden, who was raised in her parent's home.

Mrs. Clark was a member of the Everett United Methodist Church and also attended the Community Grace Brethren Church.

A graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1948, Beverly began her career as a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County in 1951 after her graduation from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Cumberland. Throughout the years, she served at the hospital in many different areas and capacities until retiring in February of 1992, also holding memberships with many different nursing associations.

She also helped in the daily operations of her family's business, Clark's Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Inc., and in her earlier years, was active within her community, helping with the PTA, and with her church organizations, including bible school, teaching and the women's fellowship

She enjoyed traveling, especially with her husband Arnold, most notably to all forty-eight states and trips to Bermuda and the Bahamas, and also enjoyed cooking, doing word puzzles, reading, attending yard sales, and doing yard work. A truly loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be truly missed.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24th, 2019 at 10:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, 22 West Main Street, Everett with Chaplain Bruce Maxwell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Friday from 9:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.

Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Everett United Methodist Church, 221 East Main Street, Everett, PA 15537.
