Carl Russell Ramsey

Carl Russell Ramsey, 60, of Everett, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 3, 2012. He was born April 29, 1952 in East Providence Township a son of the late Russell J. Ramsey and Marden (Mellott) Ramsey. He is survived by his sister Betty A. Weller and husband Donald Weller, of Hancock, A nephew Alan Weller and wife Pamela and a half niece Brenda and husband Bobby. He was preceded in passing away by 2 brothers Donald L. Ramsey and Roger L. Ramsey and a half brother Noel L. Mellott. Mr. Ramsey was a graduate of Everett Area High School, Class of 1970, and previously worked as a lathe operator at Grove-Manitowoc Crane Group in Greencastle. For the past 20 years, he has worked as a machinist for JLG Industries in both Bedford and McConnellsburg, and was an avid hunter who enjoyed working on antiques cars in his spare time and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday 11:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Asbury Cemetery.
