Coy Robinson Obituary

Coy W. Robinson, 80, of Artemas, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 26th, 2013 with his family at his side. He was born Tuesday, April 12th, 1932 in Mann Township, a son of the late Harry C. Robinson and Iris M. (Smith) Robinson. On June 28th, 1952 in Flintstone, Maryland, he married "Patsy" Viola E. (Fletcher) Robinson who survives along with their son, Ronald W. Robinson, of Artemas, A granddaughter, Roxi Jo Schwartz and husband Justin S. Schwartz, of Chambersburg A grandson, Terry L. Robinson, and wife Karen, of Ogden, Utah Three great-grandchildren, Nicklas, Ethan and Haley And a sister in law, Shelby (Kifer) Robinson, of Artemas. He was preceded in passing away by an infant sister, two infant brothers, and two brothers, Guy H. Robinson and Charles W. Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a member of the Fairview Christian Church and served in the United States Army as a Corporal during the Korean Conflict. After his service to his country, Coy began working as a missile mechanic at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, having worked there for 37 years, and at the same time, he and with his wife Patsy owned and operated Ben Chambers Cottages in Chambersburg until retiring. He was a 30-year member of the George Washington Lodge #143 F&AM of Chambersburg and the William McKinley Smith Post #155 American Legion of Artemas. At home, Coy enjoyed hunting, gardening and spending time outdoors, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends for being an all around good guy that you could count on. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30th, 2013 at 11:00 am at Fairview Christian Church with Rev. Milton Morris officiating. Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Saturday at the Church from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery with full Military Honors conducted by the William McKinley Smith Post #155 American Legion.
