Cresenda Lorraine (Trail) Morgan

Cresenda Lorraine Morgan, 64, of Chaneysville, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 with her family at her side. She was born Friday, May 18th, 1951 in Cumberland, a daughter of the late Merle K. Trail and Lillian Aveleen (Imes) Trail. On May 8th, 1971 in Cumberland, she married Charles T. "Buddy" Morgan who survives along with their daughters, Sarecia R. Powers and husband Kraig A. Powers of BelAir, Maryland; DaVina D. Griffith and husband Brandon D. Griffith of Cumberland; and three grandchildren, Teagan R. Powers of BelAir, Brylie D. Griffith, at home, Dacia D. Griffith at home, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. Mrs. Morgan was a member of the El Bethel Assembly of God church in Chaneysville. She was a graduate of Everett Area High School, Class of 1969, and first worked operating the concession stand and camp store at Rocky Gap State Park for 24 years. In 1995 she began her career as an assistant in the Restorative Physical Therapy department at Devlin Manor in Cumberland where she worked until retiring. At home Lorraine enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, hosting dinner parties for her family and friends, and truly enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. Always a gracious host, she will be remembered for her hospitable and nurturing ways. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9th, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the El Bethel Assembly of God with Pastor H. Eddie Schaidt, Jr. officiating Friends may call at the Church on Friday from 11:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Mt. Zion Christian Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lorraine to North Star Ministries Youth Programming, P.O. Box 99, Rawlings, Maryland 21557.
