Donald Fred Weicht

Donald Fred Weicht (Butch) of Shellsburg, PA, died on Sunday, November 23rd, 2025.

He was born in Everett, PA on August 16th, 1944, to the late Fred Charles and Catherine (Wigfield) Weicht.

Butch was a United States Army veteran serving from 1963-1966. He worked at Letterkenny in Chambersburg for many years before enjoying retirement and many hobbies, including; hiking, photographing the outdoors, and fishing. He took extra pride in his vehicles and had recently purchased a new one. He lived a private, peaceful life.

He is survived by a sister, BettyLou Weicht of Everett, special nieces, Alicia and Caitlyn Weicht and many other nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his late parents, sisters; Sylvia Jean Baer, MaryJane James, Judy Lutz, Sharon Bollman and a daughter, Jennifer Weicht.

A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
