Doris E. (Colledge) Foor

Doris E. Foor, 87, of Breezewood, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 27th, 2013 with her family at her side. She was born Monday, June 28th, 1926 at her family home in East Providence Township, a daughter of the late Elton Colledge and Myrtle (Winters) Colledge. On January 8th, 1945 at her fiancés family home, she married Perry R. Foor who passed away on July 31st, 2003. She is survived by their son, Phillip J. Foor and wife Linda (Brantner) Foor of Everett 4 grandchildren: Linette Copelli & husband Steve Copelli, of Derry, Phillip Jeffrey Foor, & wife Adena (Lockard) Foor, of Saxton Michael D. Foor, of Everett Troy R. Foor and Kristie Diehl, of Everett 10 great grandchildren, Angelo, Gianna, Kayloni, Alana, Alisha, Seth, Rachel, Sierra, Madison and Kim 2 great great-granddaughters Quianna & Emma a sister, Jean Christopher and husband Ronald Christopher, of Florida three brothers, Arlen "Bud" Colledge and wife Lena (Verrett) Colledge, of Louisiana; Corrin Colledge and wife Sharon (Brantner) Colledge, of Breezewood; and Robert Colledge and Donna Claycomb, of Tatesville, and many loving, nieces, nephews, friends and their families. She was preceded in passing away by 2 sisters, Myrna Cogan and Patricia "Pat" Lobb, and two brothers Gerald Colledge & Nyle Vincent Colledge. Mrs. Foor was a member of the Sherman's Valley Brethren In Christ Church where she was a member of the ladies auxiliary, a Sunday school teacher and previously served as the Church secretary and treasurer. At home Doris loved to sew and was a talented quilter who lovingly made quilts for her family and friends. An adventurous woman, she also like fishing and hunting and will be greatly missed for her kind and caring ways. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 30th, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Everett Grace Brethren Church with Rev. Melvin Van Orman officiating. Friends and family may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday at the Church from 12:00 noon until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at the Rays Cove Cemetery
