Doris J. Stevey, 71, of Everett, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born July 31, 1940 at her family home in Rays Cove, a daughter of the late Clifford C. College and Martha (Garlick) College. On September 16, 1957, in Lonaconing, Maryland, she married Leroy W. Stevey, who survives along with their children, Francis E. Stevey, and wife Dianna (James) Stevey, of Everett Robin Beegle, and husband James Beegle, of Everett 5 grandchildren, Leroy Stevey, Clayton Stevey, Katrina (Stevey) Mallow and husband Gary, Chad Beegle and wife Brandi, and Steve Beegle. 5 great grandchildren: Marissa Beegle, Brandon, Christopher, Christian, and the joy of her life and great grandma's "bestest" friend, Parker Beegle. 2 sisters, Helen Bechtel, of New Enterprise June Smith and husband Harold "Buck" Smith, of Everett 6 brothers, Arnold Colledge, of Everett Blaine Colledge and wife Dorothy (Pittman) Colledge, of Everett Daniel Colledge and wife Hazel (Pittman) Colledge, of Hopewell Kise College, of Everett Vernon Colledge and wife Theresa (Giselman) Colledge, of Langdondale Ronald College and wife Ruth (Pittman) Colledge, of Breezewood She was preceded in passing by 4 brothers James Colledge, Francis "Pete" Colledge, Clair College and Raymond Foster College. In her childhood, Doris attended the Mountain Chapel Brethren In Christ Church, and was a student at Breezewood Elementary School and Everett Southern Joint High School. After her marriage to Leroy, she was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, canning, and caring for her family, and most importantly enjoyed spending time with Leroy doing everything together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed for her caring ways. Private services will be held by the family with burial at Pleasant Union Cemetery. Arrangements by Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett.
