E. Patricia "Patsy" (Hartman) Herline

E. Patricia "Patsy" Herline, 85, of Clearville, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from home. She was born November 12, 1926 at her family home in Everett, a daughter of the late Charles F. "Happy" Hartman and Beatrice A. (McFarland) Hartman. On February 1, 1957 in Winchester, Virginia, she married Donald O. Herline who survives along with their son, Donald H. Herline and wife Melissa, of Texas, 2 grandsons, a sister Thelma L. Wareham, of Everett her "new family" who she lived with, Michael Beegle and wife Jane and their family, a nephew, 4 nieces and many loving cousins, friends and church family. She was preceded in passing away by an infant brother, a sister Neva T. Lane Jones, and a brother Sheldon Hartman. Mrs. Herline was a member of the Everett Church of the Brethren and previously was a member of the Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Lancaster County. Early in here lifetime she began working as a homemaker for many families in the Everett area, and after moving with her husband to Lancaster County, was a housekeeper at the Masonic Villages until retiring in July of 1989. Patsy enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to historic Boston Massachusetts, and like to read as well as listening to other read a story to her, and was always happy to play a board game or hand of cards with her family and friends. She truly enjoyed the company of her pet cat Fluffy Tammy Sue, and will be greatly missed for her cheerful and caring ways. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Rev. Frank Ramirez and Rev. Beverly Swindell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
