Edna Pearl (Baughman) Morris

Edna Pearl Morris, 96, of Everett, was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 22nd, 2016, at Shippensburg Health Care Center, with her family at her side. She was born Sunday, May 18th, 1919 at her family home in Hopewell Township, a daughter of the late James E. Wolf and Sally (Chaney) Baughman and her "Pop" Paul Baughman who raised her with her mom Sally. On January 29th, 1938 in the Parsonage of the First Christian Church in Everett, she married Roy A. Morris who passed away on August 9th, 1971. She is survived by their sons, Lester Morris and wife Judy (Robbins) Morris of Leland, North Carolina, Monte Morris and wife Debbie (Baraniak) Morris of Harrisburg, Richard Morris and wife Carol (Shippy) Morris of Shippensburg, Ten grandchildren Fourteen great-grandchildren Three great great-grandchildren A special niece Shirley Doyle of Everett, and many more loving nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Mildred "Mid" Foster, an infant brother Raymond Baughman, and six brothers, John Baughman, Roy Baughman, Clair Baughman, Robert Baughman, Paul "Junior" Baughman and Glenn Baughman. Mrs. Morris was a dedicated member of the First Christian Church in Everett. She worked as a housekeeper at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County for many years until retiring in September of 1984 and at home enjoyed baking and spending time with her family and friends, especially spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Rev. Robert R. Robertson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Clearville Union Cemetery.
