Ella Bollman Obituary
Ella M. Bollman, 81, of Hollidaysburg, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 23rd, 2019.
She was born Friday, June 18th, 1937 in New Enterprise, a daughter of the late David Franklin "Frank" Klotz and Frances Belle (Stonerock) Klotz.
On June 25th, 1955 in Winchester, she married Richard D. Bollman who survives along with their children,
Roger L. Bollman and wife Virginia (Whitsel) Bollman of Hollidaysburg,
Debra A. Dey and husband Steve Dey of Altoona,
Tom E. Bollman and wife Sue (Eckenrod) Bollman of Lakemont,
Margaret "Peg" Blackie and husband George Blackie of Altoona
A sister Betty Kelly of Hopewell,
14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and many loving great great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents, she was preceded in passing away by a daughter Linda Lou Bollman, five sisters, Joanne Eicher, Connie Pennrod, Lois Jean Bollman, Joyce Klotz, and Karen Wentz, and two brothers, David Klotz and George Klotz.
Earlier in her lifetime, Ella attended the Snake Spring Valley Church of the Brethren and was a dedicated and loving homemaker who enjoyed raising her children and loved spending time sitting on the porch with her husband. She also enjoyed crocheting, celebrating holidays and having her family home for dinner, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 30th, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, 22 West Main Street, Everett, with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Thursday from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
Burial will be held at Ritchey Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ella to the funeral home.
