Ellen M. (Reilly) Becker

Ellen M. Becker, 94, of Breezewood, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 24th, 2012. She was born Saturday, December 8th, 1917 in Parkland, Bucks County, a daughter of the late Thomas Reilly and Olive (Root) Reilly. On November 10th, 1939 in Bucks County, she married Robert L. Becker who passed away on August 26th, 2000. She is survived by their daughters, Bonnie L. Becker of Jacksonville, Florida and Roberta B. Raffensberger of Breezewood, a daughter in law Carol Becker of Milton, Kentucky; 8 grandchildren, Karen Beckler, Donna Becker, Gregory Hawkins, Teresa VanLoey, Vincent Raffensberger, Bonnie McClaine, Jeff Reams, and Beth Toombs, 13 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Mary Tomlinson of Perkasie, Bucks County and Doris Hilbert of Upper Darby. She was preceded in passing away by a son R. Thomas Becker, a son in law Harry P. Raffensberger, and two brothers Vincent Reilly and Hugh Reilly. A dedicated homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family and home, Ellen also enjoyed quilting, collecting ceramic, glass and precious metal mouse figurines and spending time with her golden retriever Sandy. A caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be greatly missed for her kind and caring ways. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 27th, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Rev. Claude B. Hall officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Thursday from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
