Elsie J. (Donaldson) Claybaugh

Elsie J. Claybaugh, 82 of Everett, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011. She was born December 25, 1928 in Hopewell, a daughter of the late Cloyd W. Donaldson and Pearl V. (Leonard) Donaldson. On September 6, 1947, she married James "Ralph" Claybaugh, who passed away on February 12, 1996. She is survived by their son, Dennis R. Claybaugh, and wife Vicki (Kerns) Claybaugh, of Breezewood; a sister Vera O'Neal, of Everett; and a brother, Cloyd "Junior" Donaldson of Hopewell. She was preceded in passing away by and infant sister Sophie Grace Donaldson, two sisters, Loretta Gertrude Foor Skinner and Lydia Pearl Mott, and three brothers, Clarence Edsworth Donaldson, Henry Benjamin Donaldson, and Lewis Willard Donaldson. After high school, Elsie was employed as a seamstress at Lion Manufacturing in Everett, and then was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking, caring for the flower gardens around her home, and was a dedicated wife and mother who will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Rev. William R. Kisner officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
