Estella L. Garlock (Foor) Swindell

Estella L Garlock Swindell, 93, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 12th, 2014 at Donahoe Manor. She was born Wednesday, August 18th, 1920 at her family home in Kearney, a daughter of the late William L. Foor and Emma (Grove) Foor. On March 23rd, 1940 in Winchester, she married W. Edward Garlock who passed away on August 7th, 1975. On June 11th, 1983, she married Roy D. "Dick" Swindell who passed away on November 24th, 1993. She is survives by three children, Larry W. Garlock and wife Elsie R. (Warsing) Garlock of Everett Linda K. (Garlock) Carmo of Bedford Edward L. Garlock and wife Laura (Smith) Garlock of Bedford, Four granddaughters, Kandy Lynn Troutman and husband Dana Troutman Lori Lynn Shearer and husband Donald Shearer Trisha Kay Carmo Jacquelyn Marnie Ritchey and husband Jason Ritchey Five grandsons, Mathew L. Garlock and Darcy, Michael Carmo and wife Janet, Thomas Carmo and wife Stacey Richard William Garlock and wife Caitlyn Steven Edward Garlock, Four great great granddaughters, Emily King, Danielle King, Lauren King, Genevieve King and husband William, and a great great grandson Levi King, Six great grandsons, Brook Troutman, River Troutman, Lake Troutman, Michael Carmo, Colin Bresslin and Jackson Ritchey Four great great grandchildren, Emily King, Danielle King, Lauren King, and Levi King, Two Sisters, Sara Mae Showalter and husband Wilford Showalter of Martinsburg, and Iva Jean Tewell of Carlisle, Two brothers, Richard G. Foor and wife Doris Foor of Bedford Joseph D. "J.D." Foor and wife Brenda "Barb" Foor of Bedford Two sisters-in-law, Laverne Foor of Everett and Norma Foor of Bedford, and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and their families. She was preceded in passing away by a son-in-law Norman Carmo, a sister Kathryn F. Replogle and three brothers, J. Ellis "Doc" Foor, Robert D. Foor and Albert H. Foor. Mrs. Swindell was a lifelong member of the Bethel Church of the Brethren who had a special love in her heart for her family friends, and will be greatly missed for her caring and loving ways. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 29th, 2014 at 4:00 pm in the chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett with Rev H. Lee Ritchey officiating.
