She worked at Lion’s Manufacturing (Everett Sewing Factory) for 17 years. After retiring from the sewing factory, she put her many talents to use cleaning homes for many families in Everett.
Evelyn had a deep love for sewing and crocheting, finding joy in sharing her skills with others. She especially delighted in creating clothing for her children, grandchildren, and dolls. An avid gardener, she had a natural talent for growing flowers-sunflowers being her favorite. She also enjoyed canning, working on puzzles, and doing word searches in her spare time.
She was a lifetime member of the Clear Creek Brethren in Christ Church. During her time there, she taught Sunday School and had a special love for children.
The family would like to give a special “thank you” to the UPMC Hospice team, and her nurse, Stacey for the love and care she gave.
