Florence Evie (Locke) Macrie

Florence "Evie" (Locke) Macrie, 79, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. She was born Thursday, April 20th, 1933 in Trenton, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Elmer Locke and Emma (Hughes) Locke. On September 16th, 1950 in Camden, New Jersey, she married Joseph Macrie, who passed away in March of 2006. She is survived by their children, Judi Macrie-Shuck and husband John, of Bedford Jason Macrie, of Canada Jeanette Fedak and husband William, of Everett Janell Lausch and husband Daniel, of Angola, New York Nine grandchildren, Isabell Jo Hurst, Melisa Holm, Joseph D. Macrie, Christine Barkman and husband Drew, Emma Fedak, Kayti Lausch, Rabecca Lausch, Lexie Lausch, Michael Macrie-Shuck Three great grandchildren, Aubrey J. Hurst, Devyn Wareham, and Dominic Macrie, A sister, Darlene Rowe, two brothers: James Locke, and George Locke, Two sisters-in-law, Katherine Macrie and Eileen Newell, and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and their families. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing away by her oldest son Joseph G. Macrie, three sisters,Faye Sauer, Virginia Lewis, and June Bender, and two brothers, Averand Locke, and Clayton Locke. Evie was a loving wife , mother, and grandmother who will be remembered for her remarkable generosity and sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 at 10:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating.
