Franklin D. "Frank" Weicht

Franklin D. Weicht, 78, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 10th, 2013. He was born Wednesday, December 12th, 1934 at his family home in Clearville, a son of the late Marshall and Ada (Ruby) Weicht. On February 16th, 1963 in Jersey Shore, he married Linda A. (Croft) Weicht who survives along with their 2 sons, Ronald F. Weicht of Everett and fiancé Debra Johnson of Everett J. Dennis Weicht and wife Trish (Best) Weicht, of Everett And two loving granddaughter, Lily Weicht and Emma Weicht. He was preceded in passing away by a sister Betty (Weicht) McGraw. Frank was a graduate of Everett Southern Joint High School Class of 1953 and served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany, for 2 years. After service to his country, he returned home, first working at Thomas Chevrolet in Bedford for just about 5 years, and then and H.B. Mellott in Warfordsburg until his retirement in 1999. He was a lifetime member of the Bedford County Sportsmen's Club who enjoyed trap shooting spending time hunting with his sons, and especially enjoyed taking his granddaughters out to breakfast and out for ice cream. Traveling with his wife, especially to the New England states, was always a pleasure, and he will be greatly missed for his spontaneous, dedicated and loving ways. Private services will be held by the family.
