Gary L. Wilson

Gary L. Wilson, 74 of Breezewood, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 16th, 2015. He was born Thursday, June 19th, 1941 at his family home in White Cloud, Kansas a son of the late Emory Wilson and Lillian Lucille (Bradberry) Wilson. On March 10th, 1972 in Towson, Maryland, he married Mary L. (Ditch) Wilson who passed away on March 5th, 2011. He is survived by their three children, Kenneth L. Mechalski of Hampstead, Maryland, Edward L. Wilson of Breezewood, Patricia L. (Wilson) Wyatt of Breezewood Ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law Tonia Wilson of Crystal Spring, a sister and two brothers, George Wilson of Topeka, Kansas, and Bob Tilton of Texas. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in passing away by a daughter Theresa Wilson in 1998, one brother and one sister. Gary was graduate of Highland High School, White Cloud, Kansas, Class of 1959 and after graduation, enlisted in the United States Army, also attending Dundulk Community College in Baltimore while on active duty. He was employed as a Deputy Sheriff with the Baltimore City Sheriff's Department for 30 years until retiring and enjoyed golfing, reading novels, especially those written by Tom Clancy, puttering around the house and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gary will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone in need and being a great "Pop-Pop" to everyone. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 22nd, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett with Chaplain Bruce Maxwell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
