Gerald S. Bowser

Gerald S. Bowser, 72, of New Paris, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012. He was born Sunday, July 28th, 1940 in Everett, a son of the late Gerald H. Bowser and Mary E. (Grimes) Bowser. He is survived by his former wife Connie E. (McDonald) Bowser of Bedford, Their sons, Todd A. Bowser of Kansas City, MO and Michael S. Bowser of New Paris A brother Donald L. Bowser, of Burke Virginia A nephew Roderick W. Bowser, of Charlotte, North Carolina And his special friend and caregiver Ann Burkhart of New Paris. Gerald was a graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School, Class of 1958. After working for Hedstrom Inc. in Bedford, he began working as a truck driver for PennDOT, running snowplow in the winter and transporting supplies throughout the year until retiring. . At home he enjoyed watching football, spending time with his family and friends and just enjoyed being at home and around the house and will be greatly missed. Private services will be held by the family and memories may be shared online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
