Glenda M. Donivan, 82, of Breezewood, most recently of Donahoe Manor, Bedford, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3rd, 2016. She was born Friday March 9th, 1934 at her family home in East Providence Township, a daughter of the late Herbert Mellott and Flora (Williams) Mellott. On March 2nd, 1953 she married Carl W. Donivan who passed away on December 2nd, 1983. She is survived by their children, Ronald W. Donivan of Breezewood, Carolyn S. Ulsh of McConnellsburg, Bonnie K. Chamberlain and husband Rick L. Chamberlain of Breezewood, Roger D. Donivan and wife Robin (Ritchey) Donivan of Everett Steven E. Donivan of Houston, Texas, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren with 2 more great grandchildren on the way. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing away by a son-in-law Richard L. Ulsh and a brother Vernon Mellott. Mrs. Donivan was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church where she was a member of the flower committee. She was a dedicated homemaker, who after raising her children, also worked at both the Everett Bank as a housekeeper and at the Wendy's restaurant in Breezewood taking care of the salad bar until retiring. At home she enjoyed cooking, working crossword puzzles, spending time talking with her family or going into town for groceries and caring for her many pet cats. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 7th, 2016 at 11:00 am at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Union Memorial Cemetery.
