Gloria Weaver Obituary
Gloria Jean (Vaughn) Weaver passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019, at home in Clayton, NC. She was born on August 25, 1950, to the late Harry I.Vaughn and Ruth H. (Riley) Vaughn.
Gloria is survived by her daughter BeLinda Jean Weimer of Angier, NC; her son Barry D. Weaver, Jr. of Clayton, NC; two grandchildren: Nicholas and Darrin Weimer; her brother Harry J. Vaughn and wife Jane (McCormick) Vaughn of Fuquay Varina, NC; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing away by two sisters: Trudy Clark and Connie Robison, both formerly of Everett; and son-in-law, James Weimer, Jr., formerly of Angier, NC.
Gloria was a 1968 graduate of Northern Bedford County High School. In 1980, she began work for the Bedford/Fulton Head Start Program, where she worked for over 30 years. She was a devoted and caring daughter, mother, and grandmother. Throughout her life, she brought love, joy, and humor to her many friends and family.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 30th, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Everett Assembly of God Church with Pastor John W. Wiley officiating.
Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, 22 West Main Street, Everett on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday at the Church from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
Burial will be held at Bethel Brethren Cemetery, Tatesville.
