Grace Z. (Jackson) Cunard

Grace Z. Cunard, 100, of Homewood at Martinsburg, a lifelong resident of Everett, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011, with her family at her side. She was born May 10, 1911 at her family home in Everett, a daughter of the late John W. Jackson and Mary M. (Wakefoose) Jackson. On September 14, 1936 in Elmira, NY, she married Robert G. Cunard who passed away on February 7, 1999. She is survived by their daughter, Mary Ann Stuckey, of Lititz 2 sons, George W. Cunard, of Buford, GA and John A. Cunard, of Everett 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Cunard was a lifelong member of the Everett United Methodist Church and was a seamstress at Lion Manufacturing in Everett for over 40 years until retiring. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and shared with her family and friends a fulfilling live and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel at Homewood at Martinsburg with Rev. Jerry McCuller, Jr. officiating. Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Homewood at Martinsburg from 1:00 pm until the hour of service, and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
