Helen E. "Dolly" (Dunkle) Jones

Helen E. "Dolly" Jones, 88, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 26th, 2015. She was born Sunday, January 31st, 1926 at her family home in West Providence Township, a daughter of the late David R. Dunkle and Gladys R. (Whetstone) Dunkle. On July 14th, 1950 in Wilmington, Delaware, she married Chester R. Jones, Jr., who passed away on July 29th, 1985. She is survive by their daughter, Cheryl Bussard of Everett, A grandson Troy Bussard of Everett, Three sisters, Carol Molovich of Everett, Mary Ann Foor and husband Kenneth Foor of Everett, Linda McQuait and husband Charles McQuait of Houstontown, A sister-in law, Dixie Dunkle of Everett, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to her parents and husband Chester, she was preceded in passing away by two sisters, Margaret Siegrist and Catherine M. Dunkle, and two brothers, David L. Dunkle and Frank L. Dunkle. Mrs. Jones attended the Grace Brethren Church in Johnstown,. While living in Johnstown, she worked as a personal care giver, and throughout her lifetime, worked as a waitress and a hostess at several restaurants. A talented knitter, especially of afghans, Dolly loved caring for stray pets, she would have taken them all in if she could, and will be greatly missed for her devotion to her family and friends and her caring ways.
