Jeanne Defibaugh, of Everett, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019.
She was born on January 24, 1923, a daughter to the late Roscoe and Clara Watters. She was married to James Robert Defibaugh who passed away on September 4, 2003.
She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Robbins, brother, Tom Watters, sister-in-law, Ladonna Watters, grandchildren, Roberta Schneider, James Defibaugh, Matthew Hale, Jason Defibaugh, Shannon Defibaugh, Christina Gergely, and Jeanne Pentz, and many loving great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Watters Defibaugh, brother, Jesse Watters, and sister, Shirley O'Rilley.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 28, 1962. She and her husband did volunteer work along with the Bedford Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her faith remained an important part of her life.
She graduated from the Robert P. Smith Vocational High School in Bedford County in 1941. She was employed by M&T Bank in Buffalo, New York until she retired. Besides spending time with family and her local congregation, she enjoyed cooking, quilting, and other arts and crafts.
A memorial service will be held on May 4, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 7408 Main Road, Bedford, Pennsylvania 15522.
