Jim W. Page, 79, of Everett passed away on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017. He was born Friday, November 12th, 1937 in Greensburg, a son of the late James B. Page and Ruth A. (Murray) Page. On June 20th, 2006 in Cypher, Hopewell Township, he married Mary R. (Morris) Page who survives along with his daughter Tracy Page of Altoona, A stepson Charles Groff of Manns Choice, A sister Sharon (Page) Hilton and husband John Hilton of Latrobe, 4 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 12 step great-grandchildren, He was preceded in passing away by an infant daughter Kimberly. Mr. Page was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Everett, served as a member of the Everett Honor Guard and was active in many events with his memberships in the Everett American Legion Post #8, the Everett VFW Post #2088 and the Improved Order of the Red Men Wambic Tribe #507. In his younger years he was an avid gardener and always enjoyed hunting and fishing, particularly during deer and crossbow seasons. Jim never passed up a change to watch a good western movie, especially one with John Wayne, always liked his butter pecan ice cream, and looked forward to any of his families birthdays knowing his favorite angel food cake was just around the corner.
