Joellen Sommer, 74, of Hyndman, most recently of Everett, passed away on Thursday, July 16th, 2020.
She was born Saturday, January 12th, 1946 in Peterborough, New Hampshire, a daughter of the late Ross W. Patterson and Jo Marie (Hutchins) Patterson.
She is survived by her children,

Angie Holloway of New Paris, Pennsylvania,
Heather Sommer of Yoe, Pennsylvania,
William Holloway of Hagerstown, Maryland,
Four granddaughters,
Crystal Holloway of Baltimore, Maryland,
Brandy Jones of West Virginia,
Briana Sommer of Georgia,
Brishawnna McCoy of Yoe, Pennsylvania,
Five grandsons,
Gabriel Suggs, Jr. of Essex, Maryland,
Zachary Novac of New Paris, Pennsylvania,
Eric Beegle of New Paris, Pennsylvania,
Curtis Beegle of New Paris, Pennsylvania,
Melvin McCoy, Jr. of York, Pennsylvania,
And eight great-grandsons, Gabriel Suggs, III, Chase Barbour, Thomas Suggs, Anthony Suggs, Camden Williams, Elijah Holloway, Colton Novac, and Declan Simmonds.
Joellen was a kind and loving mother and grandmother, who, with a deep love of family, gladly took part in raising all of them. As a member of the Hyndman Senior Center, she met many people and made many good friends, gladly spending her days playing games with her fellow members and having dinner with them.
Joellen loved caring for, and the company of her pets, crafting with her friends, and baking and cooking, especially for her family, be it a family meal or special gathering.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held Saturday, July 25th, 2020 at 1:00pm at the home of her daughter Wanda. Memories may also be shared online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
