John Robert Cosey

John Robert Cosey, 74, of Clearville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on January 10, 2025. Born on March 28, 1950, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, he was the beloved son of Charles Robert Cosey and Hilda Kathryn Kennedy Cosey.

John shared a devoted marriage of over 43 years with his wife, Cynthia F. Cosey, whom he married on May 23, 1981. Together, they built a loving family that includes six children: Amanda Michael and her husband, Charles; Samuel Cosey and his girlfriend, Nicole Parks; Matthew Cosey; Eli Cosey; Zachery Kline and his wife, Jennifer, along with their son Ashton; and Brayden Kline.

A dedicated worker throughout his life, John served as a supervisor for Reynolds & Reynolds for over two decades. He later pursued his passion for the outdoors as a sales and archery specialist at Keystone Sporting Goods. His love for nature extended beyond work-he was an avid fisherman and hunter who cherished trips to Canada.

John will be remembered by those who knew him as a loving, joyous, and fun individual who brought light into every room he entered. His friendships were deeply meaningful to him. He is survived by close friends Lorne and Inez Reed and was especially grateful for the unwavering support of Elizabeth Malik, Linda Shultz, and Jessica Grove during his final days.
