John Savage Obituary
John C. Savage, 59, of Everett, passed away on Saturday, July 11th, 2020.
He was born Tuesday, February 21st, 1961 in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Thomas L. Savage and Sandra M. (Ferguson) Savage Crawford.
On January 8th, 2020 in Winchester, Virginia, he married Michele (Miller) Savage, his companion of over 20 years. She survives along with his son, Joshua Savage and wife Michelle (Rosati) Savage of Everett,
Two stepdaughters, Danyelle Mahon of Everett and Whitney Hinkhaus and husband Robert "Joe" Hinkhaus, Jr. of Clearville,
Seven grandchildren, Liam, Aiden, Lydia, Madisyn, Allison, Audriana, and Robert, III "Robbie,"
A brother Warren Savage and wife Cyd of San Jose, California,
His mother-in-law, Marian Miller of Bedford,
A sister-in-law, Rochele Shawer of Boonsboro, Maryland,
A brother-in-law, Donald Miller, Jr. and wife Michelle (Williams) Miller of Bedford,
Stepbrothers and stepsister, Daniel Crawford, Jack Crawford, Joseph Crawford and Kathy Henderson, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing away by his step-father Ivan Crawford, and his father-in-law, Donald Miller, Sr.
A graduate of Norwayne High School, Creston, Ohio, John took great pride in having worked with his family as he was growing up at their Wooster, Ohio dairy farm.
He then attended the Community College of Allegheny County and worked at various jobs until earning his CDL and driving truck for over 20 years, most recently driving for McQuaide Truck Lines of Johnstown until retiring.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a Civil War buff, who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 17th, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett with Pastor John E. Geyer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm , on Friday from 10:00 am until the hour of service. and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
Burial will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
