Larry G. Bishop

Larry G. Bishop, 55, of Everett, passed away on Tuesday, April 10th, 2018. He was born Wednesday, July 4th, 1962 at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County, a son of Janet M. (Bartholow) Bishop of Everett and the late Harold G. Bishop. On August 4th, 2002 in Chaneysville, he married Sandra L. "Sandy" (Kaiser) Bishop who survives along with three daughters, Sunshine Bishop of Everett, Candi Jones of Bedford and Alicia Weicht, Three sons, Craig Showalter of Everett, Larry Bishop, Jr., of Everett, and Brandon Bishop of Bedford, Two brothers, Donny England of Arkansas and Charlie Bishop and companion Sue of Everett, Two sisters, Pam (England) Zurfas and companion Dean Colledge of Everett and Michelle Bishop and companion Keith of Everett, Twelve grandchildren, a special niece Brandy Mearkle of Everett, a nephew and four more nieces. Larry was an active member of the Jerusalem Christian Church in Warfordsburg and the Chalybeate Springs Ministries in Bedford, playing guitar and assisting in pastoral lessons. An outdoorsman of every type, Larry was a member of the Everett Sportsman's Club where he was an instructor for the Pennsylvania Game Commissions Hunter-Trapper Education (HTE) courses and also helped in trout stocking for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Being an animal lover, Larry would bring home an animal of any type for the kids to have as a pet and even took his pet dogs Red and Mocha to church with him. A loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother, his children and grandchildren were the light of his life, and he will be truly missed.
