Larry Magee, Sr. Obituary
Larry B. Magee, Sr., 71, of Clearville, PA, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2022.
He was born on July 23, 1950, in Ellwood City, PA, a son of the late Thomas D. Magee and Lucille E. (McElwain) Magee.
On October 6, 1979, he married Ester King.
He is survived by his son, Larry Magee Jr. and wife Shawntell (Peters) Magee, a brother, Jim Magee and wife Lois, a sister-in law, Barb Magee, a niece, Beverly Magee, a nephew, Jonathan Magee, and a grandchild, Luke Magee.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in passing by his first wife, Cindy (Moyer) Magee, a brother, Kenneth Magee, and a sister, Sarah Magee.
Larry graduated from Lincoln High School – Ellwood City Area District in 1968. After high school, he attended Bob Jones University where he studied the Bible and English.
He was a pastor at Berkeley Springs Bible Church for 14 years. Larry was also on the board for Christ Victory Church in Manns Choice, Habitat for Humanity, and Love, Inc.
Larry’s passions in life were God, woodworking, and helping others. He enjoyed singing, socializing with others, and volunteering at Love, Inc. and Habitat for Humanity.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 3:00 pm, at Christ Victory Church in Manns Choice, with Pastor Patrick Murphy officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, at Christ Victory Church.
