Levi Adam Weicht, 22 of Everett, passed away at home due to an unnoticed heart condition on Thursday, May 12, 2011. He was born March 14, 1989 at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County, a son of Jocelyn N. Weicht of Clearville and Adam W. Weicht of Ruby, S.C. In addition to his parents, he his survive by his brother, Luke W. Weicht, of Clearville maternal grandfather, Robert J. Nelson, of Clearville paternal grandmother Joann M. (Beegle) Jay and husband Richard Jay, of Everett step mother, Sara Weicht, of Ruby SC many aunts and uncles, Anjie (Nelson) Vance and husband Weldon Vance, of Artemas Robert R. Nelson, and wife Julie (Stiffler) Nelson, of Clearville Joseph S. Nelson, and wife Darla (Kifer) Nelson, of Chaneysville Martha J. Wentz, and husband Dave Wentz, of Hopewell Ellis W. Weicht of Ruby, SC Bernice A. Barkman, and husband Kevin Barkman, of Clearville Mary L. Bulger, and husband Jamie Bulger, of Everett Eunice R. Weicht, of Ellensburg, WA Kimberly J. Price, and husband John Price, Jr. of Everett Kelly D. Jay, of Crystal Spring Wendy Weicht, of Lenior, NC his Mom's fiancé, Terry Markle, and his family, mother Shirley Markle, of Everett his children, Justin Markle and friend Kelly Haines, of Roaring Springs, and Chasity Markle of Altoona, and her children, Kaylin, Liam, and Bryson and many cousins, including those he was especially close to, Victoria Morse, Brent Nelson, Alicia Weicht, Jennifer Weicht, Ashley Cottle, Matt Price, Jarred Bulger, Travis Wentz, Steve Wentz, and Heather Wentz, a close friend Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Kris Benson and his favorite pet cat Woody. He was preceded in passing away by his maternal grandmother, Joan V. (Stotler) Nelson and his paternal grandfather Oscar L. Weicht. Levi was a graduate of Everett Area High School, Class of 2007, and attended Allegheny College of Maryland at both the Everett and Cumberland campuses, nearing graduation within the next semester. He was an avid sports fan, having played baseball with the Clearville Little League team before he entered kindergarten and for many years after, and could answer question about all types of sport, be it baseball or football, golf, swimming or the Olympics. Levi really enjoyed spending time with his brother and best friend Luke, playing video games or just hanging out, and was a dedicated son who was always willing to lend a hand to his Mom, and was a kind and loving, son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend who will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett with Pastor Ron Hott officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm , on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the hour of service, and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at the Nelson Family Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Levi to the Clearville Little League.
