Louise E. Hott, 89, of Colonial Courtyard at Bedford, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23rd, 2014. She was born Tuesday, April 22nd, 1924 in Everett, a daughter of the late Clarence Colledge and Louie (Ramsey) Colledge. On December 21st, 1941, she married Blair C. Hott who passed away on April 1st, 1985. She is survived by their children, Joye L. Metzgar, of Claysburg John C. Hott and wife Glenda (Conrad) Hott, of Everett Jean Foor and husband Wayne Foor, of Everett Pastor Ron Hott and wife Sharon (Chamberlain) Hott, of Clearville Eight grandchildren Seventeen great-grandchildren Six great great-grandchildren Two sisters, Pauline Colledge of Everett and Mary K. Foor, of Breezewood And many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. She was preceded in passing away by an infant granddaughter, an infant grandson, an infant sister, an infant brother, two sisters Verna Lee and Viola Musselman, and a son-in-law Charles Metzgar. Mrs. Hott was a member of the Charleston Baptist Church in Sharon, Pennsylvania and attended the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren in Claysburg. A member of the Everett High School Class of 1942, Louise and her daughter Joye lived with her parents while her husband Blair served in the US Army during World War II, and upon his return home, she took to homemaking and raising her family. Always willing to lend a hand to family and friends, Louise would gladly go out of her way to spend time with, and care for, other family members. She will be remembered for her loving and caring ways, always lending an ear to listen, and being by your side to lend a hand. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 26th, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Rev. H. Lee Ritchey and Rev. William C. Swope officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park. Memorial contribution may be made in memory of Louise to the Mt. Chapel Brethren in Christ Church, 931 Cherry Lane Road, Clearville, PA 15535.
