Louise E. (Bollman) Orris

Louise E. Orris, 83, of, Marshburg, formerly of Everett, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Mercy Hospital, in Buffalo, NY. She was born July 17, 1927, a daughter of the late Merle and Nettie (Bennett) Bollman. On January 25, 1947 in Cumberland, she married William J. Orris, Sr. who passed away July 31, 2009. She is survived by their daughter, Patricia Eschrich and husband Randy, of Marshburg, two sons, William J. Orris Jr., and wife Sandy, of Bradford, and John Orris, and fiancée Edith Hernandez, of Smethport, two brothers, Richard Bollman and wife Ella, of Hollidaysburg, and Marlin Bollman and wife Dorothy, of Everett, 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing away by a daughter Virginia McCool, a son Tom Orris, an infant sister Shirley Jean Bollman, and six brothers; William Bollman, Robert Bollman, Paul Bollman, Vernon Bollman, Melvin Bollman, and Albert Bollman. In her younger years, Louise attended the Snake Spring Valley School, and then began working at Lion Manufacturing in Everett. She then moved to Bradford where she was employed with Corning Glass Works, Zippo Manufacturing Company, and W.R. Case & Sons until retiring. Louise was also a volunteer worker at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County and enjoyed camping and Chinese food, and truly loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Ritchey Cemetery.
