Luke Wesley Weicht

Luke W. Weicht, 21, of Clearville, started a new life with his brother Levi in heaven on Tuesday, August 6th, 2013. He was born October 29th, 1991 at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County, a son of Jocelyn N. (Nelson) Markle and husband Terry E. Markle, of Clearville and Adam W. Weicht and Sarah Pendarvis, of Ruby, South Carolina. In addition to his parents and stepparents, he is survived by his maternal grandfather Robert J. Nelson, of Clearville, step grandmother, Shirley Markle, of Everett, a stepsister, Chasity Markle, of Hollidaysburg, a stepbrother, Justin Markle and fiancée Kelly Haines, of Breezewood 3 cousins he was very close to, Brent Nelson, Alicia Weicht and Jennifer Weicht, two special aunts, Angie Vance, of Artemas and Wendy Weicht, of Lenoir, NC, two uncles who were great friends, Robert R. "Russ" Nelson and wife Julie, of Clearville, and Ellis Weicht of South Carolina, and two wonderful nieces with whom he shared a special tie, Elora and Kaylin, and 3 nephews Liam, Bryson and Gannon. In addition to his brother Levi, he was preceded in passing away by his maternal grandmother Joan V. Nelson, and paternal grandfather Oscar Weicht. A graduate of Everett Area High School, Class of 2010, Luke first worked as a cook at Ed's Steakhouse in Bedford and at the Bob Evans Restaurant in Breezewood while still in high school. Presently he worked as a roofer, most recently for KLA Roofing and Construction in Everett. At home Luke enjoyed playing video games, stirring up his pet cat and little buddy Woody, spending his weekends with his stepbrother and friends, and helping his family around their home. Inseparable from his brother Levi, they are together once again, and he will be greatly missed for the cool young man that he was to all his friends and family. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Reverend Gene Harding officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at the Nelson Family Cemetery.
