Melvin M. "Bud" Miller

Melvin M. "Bud" Miller, 55, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, June 11th, 2015. He was born July 14th, 1959 at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County, a son of the late Melvin Milton Miller and Alta Bell (Boozer) Miller. He is survived by his daughter Angel Wilkins on Johnstown, and her mother Karen Calhoun of Everett, His son Matthew Miller of Manheim, and his mother Kelly Hagen of Bedford, Two grandchildren Heyleigh and Earl, Six sisters, Mattie Esquivel, Patricia Whetstone, Audrey Price, Virginia Claycomb, Debbie Miller and Carol Gordon, and three brothers Larry Miller, James Miller and Terry Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing away by a son Dustin Miller, a brother Joseph Wolfhope, and a sister Frances Karns. Bud attended Bedford High School and began work at an early age at Hedstrom Corporation in Bedford and Blue Triangle Hardwoods in Everett. He then worked as a roofer with his brothers and nephew at their construction companies until retiring. At home he enjoyed watching professional wrestling, fishing, cooking for his family and friends and shooting pool and will be remembered for being a good guy to everyone he knew. A private memorial service will be held at a later date by family and friends and memories may be shared online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
