Nancy Bouch Obituary

Nancy E. Bouch, 92 of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15th, 2020 from Donahoe Manor, Bedford.

She was born Saturday, August 20th 1927 in Montgomery County, a daughter of the late Russell Thomas Bouch and Esther Belle (Parke) Bouch.

She is survived by her brother, John A. Bouch of Twin Bridges, Montana,

Two nieces and two nephews and their families,
Carol Berghen and husband Saul Wolf of San Francisco, California,
Linda McKenna and husband Thomas McKenna of Thurmont, Maryland,
John T. Bouch and wife Denise R. (Clark) Bouch of Everett, and
Bruce D. Bouch of Westminster, Maryland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing away by a great-nephew Michael John Bouch, a sister-in-law Shirley (Baldwin) Bouch and her friend and companion Shirley Walker.

Nancy was a graduate of Somerset High School who later studied Agriculture and Dairy Husbandry and Production which is the selection and care of dairy animals and associated dairy farm and processing facilities.

She then served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as an Airman 1st Class with the 58th Air Transport Squadron, MATS, as a Pilot Traffic Specialist at Keesler AFB in Mississippi, Palm Beach AFB Florida, and finished her service to our country at McGuire AFB in New Jersey, receiving the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

Nancy then worked for many years as a laboratory technician in the medical field, and throughout her lifetime was an artist with a love of nature and colors, first painting with a watercolor set she received as a gift from her parents. She then stepped up to paint by numbers kits where she learned form and structure, and for the rest of her life, worked with oils, reading and researching painting materials and techniques. It was a great honor for Nancy to have her paintings shared and displayed at the Everett Free Library.

Her interest in art also extended to flowers and flower gardening, and creating jewelry of rocks that she tumbled, polished and shaped on her own. With dedication to her family, friends and country, Nancy will be remembered for her creativity, a sharing heart and her loving ways.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 21st at 11:00 AM at Everett Cemetery with full graveside honors conducted by the Everett Honor Guard. Friends may gather at the cemetery on Saturday from 10:30 AM until the hour of service.
