Omar A. Clark, 79, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 20th, 2013. He was born Monday, September 11th, 1922 at his family home in Bedford, a son of the late Marshall Clark and Mary (Garlick) Clark. He is survived by two sisters, Daisy Reardon of Darlington, South Carolina and Thelma Waldron of Springfield, Ohio, a sister in law, Betty Clark of Everett, a cousin and good friend, Connie Harclerode of Everett, his close friend, Gina Anderson of Virginia, and several loving nieces, nephews and their families, and many friends. He was preceded in passing away by a sister, Pauline Rampley, two brothers, Merle Clark and Curtis Clark, two brothers-in-law Arthur Rampley, and Howard Reardon, an aunt, Myrtle Spade and an uncle, Percy Clark. Mr. Clark attended the Wesleyan Holiness Church in Everett. Early in his lifetime, Omar worked as a truck drive with his brothers logging company, Curtis Clark and Sons, and then was employed with New Enterprise Stone and Lime for over 27 years with the black topping division until retiring. After retiring, Omar went back to work with his brother the logging company. A caring son, brother, uncle and friend, Omar will be greatly missed for his kind and generous ways. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 29th, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Rev. Curtis Bryant and Rev. Brian Myers officiating.
