Orpha F. Ritchey, 67, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 20th, 2013 with her family at her side. She was born Monday, August 6th, 1945 in Fulton County, a daughter of the late Donald Crouse and Alta (Mellott) Crouse. On March 30th, 1968 in Hancock Maryland she married Arnold B. Ritchey who survives along with their children, James Ritchey of New Jersey Bryan Ritchey of Breezewood Angela Taylor and husband Lamont Taylor, Jr. of Everett 6 grandchildren, Dillon Ritchey, Tonya Ritchey, Tessa Ritchey, Treyanne Ritchey, Cody Ritchey and Shiann Taylor, A sister, Alma Plessinger of Needmore Two brothers, Troy Crouse of McConnellsburg and Morris Crouse and wife Charlotte of Hustontown And several loving nieces, nephew and their families. Se was preceded in passing away by four sisters, Martha Pittman, Audrey Peck, Frieda Mannetti and Natalie Guessford, and a brother Calvin Crouse. Early in her lifetime, Orpha was a seamstress at the sewing factory in McConnellsburg, and then worked as a waitress at the Breezewood Diner and the Family House Restaurant. At home she enjoyed working on crafts and caring for her home and family and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 25th, 2013 at Rays Cove Christian Church with Rev. Delmas Bard officiating. Friends may call at the Church on Tuesday from 3:30 pm until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
