Paul Wesley Brugger

Paul W. Brugger, 75, of Everett, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

 

He was born in Lancaster, PA, on October 21, 1948, a son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Bartlett) Brugger.

 

Paul is survived by a daughter, Dawn Hite and husband David; a son, Robert L Brugger and wife Indra; two brothers, John Brugger, Sr. and wife Ruth, and Joseph Brubaker and wife Brenda; three stepsisters, Debbie Hevener, Linda Reese, and Tina Gehman; 10 grandchildren, Robert Young, Jr., Travis Young, Brent Young, Devin Young, David Hite, Jr., Alexandria Brugger, Wesley Brugger, Robert Brugger, Jr., Lily Brugger, and Hailey Brugger; and six great-grandchildren.

 

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in passing by two children, Paul W. Brugger, Jr. and Alesia R. Brugger; a brother, Robert L. Brugger; a foster sister, Doris Zimmerman; foster parents, Joseph Brubaker and wife Nora; and a great-grandchild, Travis W. Young, Jr.

 

After high school, Paul worked for many years at Delbar Products where he specialized in truck mirror manufacturing until they closed down.

 

In his free time, Paul loved planting flowers to improve the beauty around him. He also enjoyed watching wildlife, which gave him appreciation and respect for the outdoor environment.

 

Paul’s greatest passion in life was fishing. Anyone who was blessed enough to know him, realized that he could spend an entire day on a boat. His favorite fishing spot was Blue Marsh Lake, late at night, catching hybrid striped bass. For Paul, fishing was a way to relax and get away from the stresses of everyday life. It challenged him to test his skills and patience, giving him a sense of accomplishment.

 

At Paul's request, there will be no services. Paul would’ve wanted anyone that has a love for fishing, to grab a fishing rod and head out to the river, pond, stream or lake, with family or friends and cast that line one more time in his honor.
