Paul Francis Obituary
Paul W. Francis, 54, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 5th, 2019.
He was born Monday, July 12th, 1965 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, a son of Donna (Haas) Leal of Fond du Lac and the late William E. "Bill" Francis.
On June 15th, 1991 at the Community Grace Brethren Church, he married Paula R. (Smith) Francis who survives along with their children,
Avery Pittman of Everett and Jacob Francis and wife Carissa (Schultz) Francis of Wellington, Ohio,
Four grandchildren, Hailey, Domanic, Kami and Brooklyn,
Three sisters,
Cristina Bussian and husband Dean Bussian of Salt Lake City, Utah,
Ann Owens and husband John Owens of Salisbury, Maryland,
Connie Hayes and husband Vince Hayes of Easton, Maryland,
A brother, Pancho Francis of Fond du Lac,
A stepfather Chico Leal of Fond du Lac, a brother-in-law Marco Irias of Fond du Lac,
His mother-in-law, Cheryl (Bloom) Smith of Purcell,
Two sisters-in-law,
Pamela (Smith) Kunkle and husband Scott Kunkle of Warfordsburg,
Penelope (Smith) Messersmith and husband Wayne Messersmith of Shelby, Ohio,
A brother-in-law Jonas "Buck" Smith and wife Kitten (Foor) Smith of Chaneysville,
And many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in passing away by a son Andrew K. Francis, two sisters, Jodie Hickman and Julie Irias, his stepmother Linda (Barton) Francis and father-in-law Guy Smith.
Paul attended the Bethel Christian Church in Purcell. After finishing high school in Fond du Lac, he earned his CDL and was a truck driver for over 36 years, having been an owner operator who also drove for Smith Transportation in Roaring Springs, New Century Transportation of New Jersey and drove for Midwest Transportation, Inc. of Robinson, Illinois until he could no longer drive.
At home Paul enjoyed cooking for his family, especially for family gatherings and when camping at their family farm. He loved being "Pop Pop" to his grandchildren, and was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be truly missed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 10th, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Bethel Christian Church, Purcell with Pastor Russell Hoffman officiating.
Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, 22 West Main Street, Everett on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Saturday at the church from 11:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
