Paula Sue (Penrod) Oliver

Paula Sue Oliver, 42, of Porter, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014 in Muskogee,Oklahoma. She was born Saturday, September 4, 1971 in Bedford, a daughter of Fred Penrod and Connie (Klotz) Penrod of Schellsburg. On November 11, 2009 she married Robert Arlin "Bobby" Oliver, who survives along with her two daughters, Sabrina Appel of Schellsburg Salena Appel of Portor, A granddaughter Piper Appel of Schellsburg A brother Kevin Wallace and wife Lorie Wallace of New Paris, A sister Shannon Rhodes and husband Matt Rhodes, of Manns Choice, Two half sisters, Jodie Shedd and husband Kenneth Shedd of Easton Missy Goodwin and husband Gary Goodwin, of Ball, Louisiana And many more loving members of her family and friends. She was preceded in passing away by her grandparents Frank and Frances Klotz, Ben and Beulah Penrod, and her father-in-law Arlin "Cotton" Oliver. Paula was a graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School, Class of 1989. She then married, and from her first marriage, had two beautiful daughters. After her second marriage, Paula and her new husband Bobby settled in Portor, where she spent most of her time caring for family and friends in both Pennsylvania and Oklahoma. For over 20 years she worked as the "right hand" of her father Fred at his trucking company, even working from home 1100 miles away in Oklahoma. She loved her family history, spending hours upon hours researching and discovering many interesting facts and relatives throughout the Penrod family line. When Paula was not helping others, she was studying to be a paralegal, and was determined to help others with a career where she was certain to exceed. A very much loved daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend, she was always there to lend a hand to those she cared for most. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett with Pastor Danny Oldham officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00pm, on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the hour of service, and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
