Pauline E. Obituary
Pauline E. Colledge, 98, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019.
She was born Thursday, June 9th, 1921 in Everett, a daughter of the Late Clarence E. Colledge and Louie J. (Ramsey) Colledge.
She is survived by a sister Mary K. Foor of Breezewood, eleven nieces and nephews, and many loving great and great-great nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing away by an infant sister Grace E. Colledge, an infant brother John C. Colledge, three sisters, Verna I. Lee, Viola E. Musselman, Louise E. Hott, a niece Carolyn Blackstone, and two nephews John G. Foor and Dewey Foor.
Pauline attended Mt. Chapel Brethren in Christ Church in Breezewood throughout her lifetime, most notably over the past 20 years.
A graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1940, during World War II she worked at the brickyard in Sproul, then worked as a produce farmer in Claysburg, and through the Green Thumb Program, worked as a flower gardener at Old Bedford Village, mowed lawns at the Everett little League Field, and was a housekeeper for the Breezewood Volunteer Fire Company Station 40 until retiring
An avid all season hunter, Pauline also like fishing, crocheting afghans, flower gardening and will be remembered for her love of life and family, and faith and devotion to our country and Lord.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31st, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Chapel Brethren in Christ Church in Breezewood with Pastor Ron Hott officiating.
Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, 22 West Main Street, Everett on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Saturday at the Church from 12:00 noon until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
Burial will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Breezewood.
