Pauline P. (Colebaugh) Felton

Pauline P. Felton, 94, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 25th, 2013, with her family at her side. She was born Saturday, June 7th, 1919 in Osterburg, a daughter of the late Harry Colebaugh and Libbie Rebecca (Ickes) Colebaugh. In 1945 in Cumberland, Maryland, she married John P. Felton, Sr., who passed away on September 13th, 2005. She is survived by their seven children, John P. Felton., Jr., of Everett Bonnie Lee Crawford and husband Dale Crawford, Sr., of Everett Terry R. Felton, of Everett Harry A. Felton, of Everett Sandra Kay Diehl, of Warfordsburg Libbie L. Claar, of Everett Leona L. Morral and husband Terry Morral, of Everett 7 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren a niece Carol Leppert and husband Henry, of New Paris a nephew Bobby Colebaugh, of Osterburg and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing away by a grandson Dale Lee Crawford in February of 2012, a sister Freda Hoover, and two brothers, Clair Colebaugh and Byron Colebaugh. Mrs. Felton attended the Pennknoll Bible Church for many years and was a graduate of Bedford High School, Class of 1939. Earlier in her lifetime, Pauline was employed for 10 years at the Sylvania Electronic Tube Plant in Altoona, building radar equipment and welding for the World War II effort. She then worked at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County in the laundry department, later working in the dietary department, serving meals to patients for over 30 years until retiring in 1989. Spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren, was important to Pauline, as well as spending time with family and friends who would stop buy to share a meal or play cards. A dedicated homemaker who enjoyed shopping, watching the horserace's in Charlestown, and cooking, canning and gardening, she will be greatly missed for the care and love she shared with her family. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 30th, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Pennwood Bible Church with Pastor Floyd Rinehart officiating. Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Monday at the Church from 10:00 am until the our of service, and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
