Perry Clark Obituary
Perry Matthew Clark, 39, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 25th, 2019, after a courageous battle over the past 14 months with cancer.
He was born Friday, July 4th, 1980 at Fulton County Medical Center in McConnellsburg, a son of Jenny (May) Smith and her husband Bob Smith of Bedford and LaFern "Butch" Clark and fiancé Debra Bussard of Everett.
On October 15th, 2005, at the Mt. Union Christian Church in Mench, he married Amber (Morse) Clark, and together they were a model of a true love. From the moment they met, Perry and Amber had a strong and lasting affection, respect and friendship together, and as a family, were happy and content, fulfilling Gods intention of love and marriage.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by their children, Elias Wilson Clark and Delia Mae Clark, both at home,
Two brothers, Ryan Clark and wife Audrey (Mallow) Clark of Clearville,
Andy Clark of Hedgesville, West Virginia
Three stepsisters, Stacy (Smith) Dowd and husband Matthew Dowd of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jade (Smith) Folk and husband Paul Folk of Harrisburg, Jamie (Smith) Garcia and husband Christian Garcia of Gaithersburg, Maryland,
Grandmother-in-law, Elsie M. (Davis) Beegle of Clearville,
Mother-in-law, Karen D. Morse of Bedford,
Father-in-law, Milton Morse, Jr. of Clearville
Nieces and nephews, Wyat, Stasia, Zach, Camden, Whelynn, Kyle, Owen, Ivey and Cami and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.
He was preceded in passing away by maternal grandparents Bob and Zada May, paternal grandparents Ralph and Evelyn Clark, grandfather-in-law John Beegle and grandparents-in-law Milton and Doris Morse.
Perry was a member of the Bethel Christian Church in Purcell where he selected all the music to be played for all services, and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.
He was a graduate of Everett Area High School, Class of 1998, and in February of 1998, began working at Interchange Parts Distributors in Bedford, where he has worked as part of the daily operations for the past 21 years. At Interchange, Perry was well know for mixing specialty paints, stocking and maintaining inventory, and helping with customers until the 15th of this month, keeping up with life as normal for his family and co-workers.
At home, Perry was a devoted father because of his upbringing on the family farm, which in turn made wonderful memories for his children. Playing games of Skip-Bo or Uno, riding bikes together, cooking with Delia or teaching Elias "guy stuff" like changing oil the car or cutting grass, Perry never gave up on educating and sharing knowledge with his children, even when he knew their time together was soon to end.
With a smile on his face, a kind word to say about everyone, his quick wit and selfless heart, Perry will be remembered for living in a way that those who knew him, but did not know God, would come to know God through him.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Everett Church of The Brethren with Pastor Todd Jay officiating.
Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, 22 West Main Street, Everett on Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, on Tuesday at the Church from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
Burial will be held at Union Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in memory of Perry to an account being setup at M&T Bank for his family to help with their future education and life expenses.
