Pharris C. "Abe" Bennett

Pharris C. "Abe" Bennett, 76, of Everett, passed away on Friday, October 16th, 2015. He was born Sunday, August 13th, 1939 at his family home in Cumberland, a son of the late Carl Bennett and Mary Martha Sparks. He is survived by many loving cousins, and along with his parents, was preceded in passing away by an infant sister. Abe attended Everett Area High School and was employed throughout his lifetime at Everett Hardwood and at numerous gas stations throughout town. Always taking pride in his car, he made sure his 1956 Ford had all the love it needed. With a quiet demeanor, Abe went throughout his day, happily knowing that he always did his best, not seeking praise or reward from others. He will be dearly remembered and greatly missed by his family and friends. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
