Phillip Edward Wright Sr.

Phillip Edward Wright, Sr., 57, of Breezewood, previously of Dauphin, Pennsylvania, was called home to be with the Lord and took His hand Monday, August 27, 2012, with his wife at his side. He was born January 12, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois, a son of Eileen (Law) Wright of Crystal Spring and the late Arthur Wright. On February 11, 2007 in Harrisburg, he married Mary J. (Gall) Esquivel Wright, who survives along with his children, Dawn Wise, of Milton Florida Amy Wright, of Crystal Spring Phillip E. Wright, Jr., of Altoona Amanda Thompson, of Robertsdale Holly Wright, of Everett Kylee Wright, of Buffalo Mills Stepchildren, Scarlett Esquivel of Harrisburg, and Adam Esquivel of Hershey 8 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Carole Herd, of Sapello, New Mexico, and Sherry Allen, of London, Kentucky 8 brothers, David Wright, of Posen, Illinois Daniel Wright of Elkridge, Maryland John Wright, of Sherman's Dale Michael Wright, of Glen Burnie, Maryland Mark Wright, of Bedford, James Wright, of Crystal Spring Thomas Wright, of Breezewood Matthew Wright, of Bedford And many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and their families. Phillip was a member of the Fishing Creek Valley Evangelical Congregational Church in Harrisburg. Throughout his lifetime he was a construction worker and self-employed contractor with a focus on the construction of commercial fencing until retiring. At home he enjoyed historic restoration and preservation of his own home as well as other historic buildings, and was a member of the Camp Curtain Historical Society and the Bedford County Historical Society. Phil was also a Civil War enthusiast and historian who collected antiques and was definitely a fan of muscle cars. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed for his quiet and caring ways, and his great sense of humor. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 31st, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, 22 West Main Street, Everett, PA 15537, with Pastor John Bennett officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Friday from 10:00 am until the hour of service, and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Shenk's Cemetery, Deodate, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Friends may call at the cemetery from 12:30 until the hour of committal.
